Future development

Technology should strengthen our humanity.

Our future vision brings together the human foundations of care and new possibilities in education. We aim to explore technology that supports learning—not technology that replaces compassion, professional judgement or human connection.

AI-supported learning, immersive education and simulation-based training are future developments. These capabilities are not currently operational.

The learning vision

01

AI-supported simulation

A future ambition to explore scenario-based learning where caregivers can consider decisions, reflect on outcomes and develop confidence before applying learning in practice.

02

Immersive education

Exploring interactive learning environments that connect educational concepts with the complexity of real care situations.

03

Simulation-based training

Considering practice-focused learning experiences that complement educator-led teaching and support thoughtful reflection.

Ethical technology in care

People first.
Always.

Our proposed direction for future development

  • Human oversight. Educators and care professionals should remain accountable for learning and care decisions.
  • Privacy and dignity. Future tools should respect consent and protect sensitive personal information.
  • Fairness and inclusion. Technology should be considered across different cultures, abilities and learning needs.
  • Evidence and transparency. New learning tools should be evaluated carefully, with clear communication about their limitations.

These are proposed development principles, not claims of deployed systems or established technology governance.

Shape a thoughtful future for care education.
